An arch in engineering is a curved member that is used to span an opening and support loads from above. To the eye, it may appear that an arch is made just for the decorative look to the opening, but it is actually used to support loads from above. I pray that these earrings would be something to help you remember that what you do is valuable, and needed. It is easy to feel misunderstood in what you do because sometimes people only see the surface, but never know the effort, hard work, preparation, sacrifices and dedication that actually takes place behind the scenes. Some might think that what you do is no big deal, because they don't understand the true worth of what you do. In Proverbs 31 it talks about the woman knowing the worth of her work. To some, she may look like a wife and a mother who stays home all day, but she knows that what she does, her work, is necessary for her family and it is a worthy calling. While some may think all you do is stand there and look pretty doing your "easy" work, spanning an opening, you know that your work is supporting loads. Loads that would fall had you not done the work that you do.
